We’re concerned about the future, too and what it all means for our children and our grandchildren.  So, let’s work together to shift our attitudes and actions to more affordable and sustainable choices. We CAN do this … together!

ReImagine West Shore helps organize conversations, events, campaigns, and initiatives that embrace change creatively.  Learn more about what we’re up to on our Events Page.

Who we are

We’re ReImagine West Shore, a volunteer-run organization that aims to help connect community members with each other and the simple changes we can make to save some money and respect the planet and places we call home.

People often feel overwhelmed by today’s challenges, from the cost of everything to climate change. But we often don’t know where to start shifting our ways of living, and because we’re all individuals on unique journeys, one size doesn’t fit all.

By organizing community conversations, events, campaigns, and initiatives that embrace change creatively, we believe we can positively contribute to our region’s collective mission of building a more climate-conscious society where sustainable behaviours are the norm.

Land Acknowledgement

ReImagine West Shore honours the original stewards of this land – the Songhees, Esquimalt, and Sc’ianew (Beecher Bay) First Nations. We recognize that the communities of the West Shore lie within the unceded territories of these peoples. We are aware of our responsibility to educate ourselves about the long and deep history of these lands – of the forced removals, and the conscious destruction of Indigenous culture by settlers of our ancestry. We hope to bring awareness to this ongoing, lived reality, and to take action to support more connected ways of being for all.
